Physical development includes perceptual and motor coordination as well as muscle coordination which comes from playing with outdoor and indoor play equipment such as climbing bars, swings, slides, sand, balls and riding tricycles.
Arts and crafts lead to discovering the world of texture, colors, shapes and sizes through projects such as painting, gluing, pasting, coloring, cutting and molding clay.
Music and drama appreciation comes from singing songs, marching, dancing, playing in rhythm bands, listening to various instruments, pretending or dressing up in make-believe clothes.
Emotional growth takes place when a child is assured of God's love as modeled by teachers around him. Each child has an opportunity to be recognized as the "Prayer Child" of the day who is usually given special privileges.
Weekly chapels provide opportunities for a child to practice stage poise in front of an audience as well as learning how to behave in a large group setting.
Parental participation is encouraged for school events and assuming room mother chores. Class observations are welcome, but conversations with teachers should take place after class is dismissed.
